Mayor Sue McKortoff

Mayor Sue McKortoff has lived in Osoyoos for more than 45 years and was re-elected Mayor in the October 2022 civic election. Sue holds a Bachelor of Education degree and worked as a primary teacher at Osoyoos Elementary School for 34 years. Sue volunteers for many Osoyoos community and service groups - Soroptimist International of Osoyoos and Osoyoos Festival Society. She is a Director of the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS), International Osoyoos Lake Board of Control (IOLBC), Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust (SIDIT), Hwy 3 Coalition, the Emergency Executive Committee, and Chairperson of the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB).
