First Responders Receive Support

RC Osoyoos hosted the 2023 First Responders Gala Dinner & Dance on January 26th at Spirit Ridge Resort after a two-year pause. Proceeds were distributed to the four recipient organizations (RCMP, Search & Rescue, Osoyoos Fire Department, Paramedics) at the Club lunch on February 23rd each receiving $2,000 to support their members and buy additional equipment not provided in existing budgets. While a fundraiser, the event focused on honouring and thanking first responders for their service to the community. Each organization picked one of their members to receive a plaque commemorating their achievement.
